places brings us together
You cannot create meaningful brand experiences without without living its values. At Starbucks, coffee-tasting wasn’t just a ritual, it was central to everything we did because it fostered connection and appreciation for the people we work with and the customers we serve.
My most rewarding work happens across cultures, disciplines, and continents. These experiences have taught me to build relationships, listen closely, and make room for local knowledge to be applied globally.
Turning a promising idea into a place people can walk into through problem solving, local expertise with respect to global programs is the kind of work that does not feel like a job to me.
My approach combines a clear creative direction with collaborative problem-solving and attention to execution. Whether coaching designers or aligning construction, operations, and brand partners, I keep people connected to the vision—and to one another.
I’ve spent my career designing spaces that bring people together, from community architecture and urban planning to retail environments that connect people with their favorite brands. Across every scale, my purpose is the same: create places that invite connection, express identity, and become part of people’s everyday lives.
